St. Martin’s Evening Popup
One of the lesser-known dates on the European calendar is called St. Martin’s Day, and each year it falls on November 11. Essentially, it’s a day that marks the end of the summer harvest, the time when many farm animals are ready for slaughter, and oh, the life of a notable Roman soldier named Martin.
Now considering we don’t live on a farm somewhere in the countryside and we know very little about St. Martin (the man, not the island), it might seem random to base our pop-up meal around this special day. However, we have a perfectly good reason for doing so: it means we’ll be all be feasting on roast duck for dinner.
If you think that sounds like a ducky good idea for a dinner and you’d like to join us, see the menu and other details below.
The dinner will take place at Kantine on FRIDAY NOVEMBER 9 at 7pm. Space is limited.
