As you may know, our plan is to open a restaurant in San Francisco in the fall of this year. Until that happens, we're all about having fun with our Scandinavian-inspired concept, and that means hosting a pop-up in NY in just a few short weeks.
Our NY brunch pop-up will take place at Boro 6 Wine Bar in Hastings-On-Hudson - a quick half hour train ride from Manhattan - on Sunday April 2, 2017.
Why NY? Well, just a few months ago, our log-time friends Jennifer Aaronson and Paul Molakides opened a dreamy wine bar in their town, Hastings-on-Hudson - and we thought a pop-up event would be an excellent excuse for us all to collaborate and make some great Scandinavian-style food together.
Here's the menu for the event:
Danish crisp bread with seasoned butter
Skyr with buckwheat muesli and sea buckthorn
Scandinavian-style frittata with roasted mushrooms, cabbage and caraway
Trout rillettes with pickled red onion on homemade sprouted rye bread
Hay-smoked fresh cheese, roasted beets, sprouts and horseradish
Cardamom-spiced Swedish knots
Scandal Spritzer, Cava, Juve & Camps, Spain, Essentila Xarel-Lo reserva brut with elderflower essence, followed by:
White: Gruner Veltliner, Wieninger, Vienna Hills, 2014, or
Red: Pinot Noir, Joe Dobbs, Dundee Oregon, 2014
